Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a very restful and fun filled summer!  So, with school starting back up at the end of the month, I thought I would try to answer some of the most frequently asked questions!

What are the hours and days of Preschool?
We have 3 different sessions of preschool:
MWFam - 9:15-11:45
TTHam - 9:15-11:45
TWTHpm - 12:30-3:00

Where do I drop off and pick up my child?
Drop off for the morning classes you can drive around the school building and drop off in the back near the preschool play ground.  Drop off for the afternoon class you need to park in the parking lot and walk your child to the preschool playground.  (Afternoon class please do not enter the playground when the older children are having recess.  Please wait until the teachers line them up to go inside and then walk your child to the preschool playground.  We strive to keep our school as safe as possible!  Thanks!)

Pick up for all classes you need to park in the parking lot and walk to the preschool playground.

What will my child need for preschool?
Your child will need a backpack, a change of clothes in a ziplock bag (in case we have an accident or get wet/dirty) and a healthy snack and drink.

Can we bring in a treat for birthdays?
Unfortunately, we are unable to share any snacks due to many children having allergies.  You are welcome to make the day special for your child by providing him/her with a special treat.  Or you could share something non-edible with the class.

When is tuition due?
Tuition is due the first of every month.  Please drop your payment off in the office.  We ask that you do not give your tuition to any of the teachers to avoid any lost or misplaced payments.  Thanks!

When is the first day of school?
We will be having an Open House August 27th 2:00-4:00.  We hope to see everyone there!  Preschool starts September 8th, one week after the "big" kids so they can settle in and things are a little calmer for when we start!

I hope this answered some of your questions!  I am so excited to start this school year and look forward to meeting everyone in a couple weeks!

Hi all!
I can't believe we only have 2 weeks left in preschool!  We will be wrapping up the school year with a small performance for the parents!  We have been practicing, but you never know what will happen when there is an audience!  The children are so excited!  The performance will be the last hour of the class, (it is a very short performance!), we will see a short video of our year and then we will enjoy some frozen yogurt!  Weather permitting we will go outside and play for a little while!  I hope that we will see you all there!

Parent's have been asking me what they can do over the summer to help their child continue learning.  The best thing you can do for your child is READ!  Reading to your child everyday has so many benefits!  So please take time to read!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful spring break!  I can't believe the end of the school year is right around the corner!  Our last day of school will be June 11th and June 12th.  We will be preforming a little "show" for the end of the year.  I will keep everyone informed about the dates and times!  If anyone would like to have a conference before the end of the year, please let me know!  Enjoy the weekend!

It has been a very busy winter!  I think we are all ready for spring!  Although it has been cold and snowy, this is my favorite time in the preschool.  This is the time of year where all that we have been working on begins to "click" with the children!  It is so exciting to watch them grow!

We have been working hard on beginning sounds, segmenting words, blending words and sound/letter association with letters of the alphabet.  These are all activities that you can practice while riding in the car or cooking dinner!  You only have to practice a minute or two, it doesn't have to be very long!  Click here for a link to some activities!

Here is a peek into our room:
As if we didn't have enough snow, we brought it inside!
