I wanted to let you know some of the great things we are learning here at school! We use Imagine It for our language arts program. Now that we have been in school for a couple of months, we are beginning to explore our letters and are beginning to learn some basic sight words! Here are some of the objectives we have been learning:
- We are analyzing sentence pairs to determine which has more words and which has fewer words.
- We are learning that letters can be capital or small.
- We are learning that names are special words made from one capital letter and small letters.
- We are identifying and describing the functions of common classroom objects.

READ to your child everyday! Listening to stories is a very important part of becoming a good reader! So, cuddle up with your child, a good book and enjoy!
